# Run Circuit in your app

> Open Circuit from a wallet or other app with one link, earn a Hyperliquid builder fee, and see what your app can and can't do.

Wallets and other apps give their users Circuit by opening one link. Circuit's own interface handles sign-in, agents, trading and approvals, so your app never handles passkeys, keys or Circuit credentials.

### Register

Send Circuit your app id (lowercase letters, digits and `-`, up to 32 characters), display name and, optionally, a Hyperliquid builder address and fee between 0.001% and 0.1%. Circuit registers it in staging and production.

### Open Circuit

Open `https://app.circuit.org/?app=<app id>` (staging: `https://app.staging.circuit.org/?app=<app id>`). The user signs in or creates an account with a passkey, then approves **Continue in** your app, which names your app and its builder fee. The session lasts seven days; opening the link after that asks again.

Passkeys for circuit.org only work in a real browser: on iOS use `SFSafariViewController` or `ASWebAuthenticationSession`, on Android a Custom Tab, never an embedded web view.

### What your app gets

* Every Hyperliquid order placed in the session, including by agents started in it, carries your builder code. Each wallet approves your fee once, as Hyperliquid account setup.
* **Connected apps** lists your app. Disconnecting ends the session and pauses agents started in it until the user renews their authorization.
* Your app receives no permit, wallet access or account data.

Apps that need their own interface instead of Circuit's use the [permit handoff](/agent-developers/cli-references/authentication#apps).
