How It Works
Agents historically meant either a chatbot researcher or a coding assistant. But financial agents can do much more - they can transact on your existing wallet to run automated sophisticated strategies. The opportunity is high, so are the risks. How do we do this safely while preventing hallucinations and malicious code?
Agents Suggest Transactions
Agents produce suggested transactions, like sending a swap, deposit, staking, or other action. They never touch private keys or other credentials, making it safe to run even a third-party agent on your wallet.
Personalized Safety
Every agent runs inside Circuit's infrastructure, and every suggestion passes through Circuit's automatic safety system:
Global rules prevent invalid or malicious actions
Personal policies enforce limits like spend amounts and target chains/protocols/assets
If an agent violates either of these, the transaction is blocked and never signed.
Self-Custodial
Starting and stopping an agent can only be done with your self-custodial passkey. Even Circuit does not have access to your private key, it lives in a secure enclave.
Onchain Performance History
Because agents transact onchain, there is an inviolable historical performance for each agent. This lets users compare immutable performance over time and pick the agent that fits their risk profile and quality needs best.
