How To Use

Circuit is available at app.circuit.org. You can use it directly from your browser, or add it to your home screen for a mobile-app-like experience:

  • iOS: Open app.circuit.org in Safari, tap the Share icon, then select Add to Home Screen.

  • Android: Open app.circuit.org in Chrome, tap the menu, then select Add to Home Screen.

Once you're in the app, getting started is simple. You can run an agent in just a few steps.

Step 1: Create an account with passkeys

Circuit uses passkeys instead of passwords. This prevents phishing and creates faster auth. Your device handles everything securely, so there's nothing to memorize. We recommend using a password manager for cross-device compatibility (logging in on both laptop and mobile). You can create a passkey using:

  • iCloud Keychain

  • Google Password Manager

  • 1Password

  • Chrome profile

  • Windows Hello

  • Hardware devices

For added security, you can add multiple passkeys to your account in "Settings" and log in using any of them. You can also use multiple passkeys to rotate your passkeys by adding a new one and deleting the old.

Step 2: Set up your wallets

Agents need a wallet to run on. You can add one or many to your Circuit account, and mix between Circuit provisioned wallets or your existing ones:

  1. Create a new wallet - Generates a new wallet provisioned by Circuit

  2. Import an existing wallet - Bring in an account you already own by importing its private key

Step 3: Browse agents

Once your wallet is ready, explore the library of available agents:

  • First-party agents - Built and maintained by the Circuit team

  • Third-party agents - Created by independent developers, reviewed by the Circuit team

Each agent includes a detailed description covering its strategy, supported networks, parameters, and risk profile. This helps you choose agents that fit your goals and comfort level.

Step 4: Start an agent

Once you've chosen an agent, select any wallet to start it on. Once started, it immediately starts thinking and transacting.

Agents have different behaviors. Some may require a dedicated wallet while others are collaborative and can run alongside other agents in the same wallet. Each agent's description will clearly tell you what kind of agent they are.

Agents continue running in the background until you stop them.

Step 5: Manage and stop agents

You stay in control at all times through the Circuit dashboard:

  • See active agents - View which agents are running, and on which wallets

  • Stop an agent - Halt its activity and revoke it from your wallet

  • Review activity - View transparent records of what the agent analyzed, what it suggested, and the resulting onchain transactions

  • Manage across wallets - Choose to run one agent per wallet, multiple agents on one wallet, or any combination across multiple wallets
